SPIKY KISS
SPIKY KISS Single Earring
The cowrie, called porcelain or “kiss” because of its mouth-like shape, bears witness to an ancestral memory and carries powerful symbolism. Both an ancient means of exchange since antiquity, a piece of jewelry, a divination tool, and a talisman, the cowrie embodies an invaluable cultural wealth, particularly in West Africa. Its central slit, reminiscent of a pupil, has made it a symbol of protection against the evil eye. It is also associated with femininity, fertility, and prosperity.

Each piece of jewelry reveals a fragment of the ocean, shaped by tides, sand, and time. Its natural irregularities make it a singular piece, impossible to reproduce identically. True to the model shown, its organic part will nevertheless reveal its own shades, reliefs, and natural details. These delicate variations give each creation a unique character.
