ABALONIA — Pair
Description, materials and dimensions
ABALONIA Pair of Earrings
Nicknamed Venus's Ear, abalone, or Haliotis pulcherina (Gmelin, 1791) is a shell that reveals mother-of-pearl in its most authentic, raw, and wild form. In the light, its iridescent reflections play among turquoise and magenta hues, creating a lively palette of colors that shifts with the sun's rays. Here, it is paired with the freshwater pearl created naturally by a shellfish from Thailand, whose irregularities make each piece completely unique.
- Materials:
Abalone shell, (Haliotis pulcherrima Gmelin, 1791)
Natural freshwater mother-of-pearl pearls (Hyriopsis cumingii)
Hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel

The ring measures 12mm in diameter
Each piece reveals a fragment of the ocean, shaped by tides, sand, and time. Its natural irregularities make it a singular piece, impossible to reproduce identically. While faithful to the piece shown, its organic part will nonetheless reveal its own shades, contours, and natural details. These delicate variations give each creation a unique character.
