This piece is composed of a fragment of mother-of-pearl. The iridescent appearance of mother-of-pearl is due to successive thin layers of calcium carbonate, in the form of aragonite, bound together by conchiolin. Mother-of-pearl is perceived as a lunar material, linked to cycles and protection. Its gradual formation, layer after layer, evokes deep time, healing, resilience. Nothing is brutal. Everything is patient accumulation, silent repair, constant adaptation. This is undoubtedly why it has been used as a talisman, amulet, or sacred material in many civilizations. On this piece, the friction of sand, currents, and the shore gradually sculpted its shape, revealing a raw, nacreous, irregular surface.

Care
Each piece of jewelry is created from a fragment of organic material. Although it is worked and reinforced to last over time, it is necessary to take care of it for its greatest durability.
It is recommended to remove the jewelry before sleeping and before coming into contact with water (shower, sea, sports)
